Incorporated as a Public Limited Company on 8th August 1990, FIL received certificate of commencement on 5th Sept. 1990. Involved in manufacturing synthetic man-made fibres, FIL is pioneer in manufacturing Mono Filament Yarns. FIL also diversified into Special Polyester Filament Yarns like Micro Denier Polyesters, and in 2008 FIL started manufacturing Polyester Fully Drawn Yarn using modern machines from Barmag, Germany. In 2009, FIL installed 167 state of the art automatic needle looms for Narrow Wooven Fabric (Malai Dori) with warping machines. In Aug 2012, company started its own poly-condensation plant envisaging 600 MT/day of Poly-condensation and 300 MT/day of POY at Dahej Industrial Area, GIDC, Bharuch (Gujarat). By putting up this Unit, company has joined the league of Major POY Manufacturers. FIL is in the process of implementing Bright Polymer with a capacity of 300 Tonnes per day at Dahej Plant. Financial Closure, Basic Design and Engineering has been completed and will commence production by December 2017
