Established in the year 1990 to produce Butyl Inner Tubes Exel Rubber Pvt. Ltd. is a closely held organization. An TS 16949 & ISO 9001 certified company, Exel manufacturers all varieties of tubes – Two wheeler to OTR; tubes for Bias and Radial tyres; with Butyl, Chlorobutyl and Blended compounds. It operates as a contract manufacturing organization to many tyre companies, both Indian and International. Exel has built manufacturing units with multi-party activity, units with dedicated blocks for customers and also units dedicated to single customer as per client requirements. As a company, currently Exel consumes over 1000 MTs of Butyl Rubber per month which is over a fifth of total Indian consumption. Exel Rubber also started manufacturing tyre curing bladders and air bags in the year 1995 and is currently the largest bladder manufacturer in India. The bladders are exported to various countries in Asia, Europe, Africa and South America.
